Mary Shannon was born on 6 August 1865 at St. Heliers near Muswellbrook. She was Patrick Kinsella's second wife, and they were married at the Glen Innes Catholic Church on 3 November 1890. She was a school teacher in Glen Innes at the time of her marriage. She bore the six children referred to above, the first four of whom were born at Glen Innes and the last two, Nano and Clare at Wagga Wagga. Patrick was transferred there in 1890 as Sheriff's Officer of the Court. She died in Woolwich on 14 March 1940 at 11:45pm. | |
