Robert (aged 45 years) and Lydia Fletcher (aged 42 years) and their children migrated as Government assisted Immigrants, on the British King (master William Paton, surgeon Master Superintendent Doctor Alexander Arbuckle) from Tobermory Scotland on 28 October 1838 and arrived in Sydney on 28 February 1839
