The following from some Fletcher family notes indicate that he was born in 1809 and died in 1893 at age 84, however another part of the notes indicate that he was born in 1824 and migrated in 1839 at the age of 15. This makes more sense, as this way he would have started having children at 25, not 40. Will have to figure out the discrepency...
