Martin Donohoe arrived in Australia on the Mangles, on its fourth voyage. He arrived in 1826 aged 42. He is described in the convict indents for that ship as follows:

At Martin's death he had 16 children, 2 of which lived only a few days. He appears to have been married possibly three times. It appears that the frist seven or so of his children were from Mary Ann. Another wife may have been Mary Cadrigan, although this may be a daughter.
